Abortion Legislation versus the Commerce Clause

Here is an interesting post, another example of a bed that Justice Stevens has made that he refused to lie down in. The author of Gonzales v. Raich, holding that possession of marijuana is an economic activity justifying federal regulation over insterstate commerce, can't see how a federal ban on partial birth abortion could also be justified under the same clause.
