Jazz Hands for the Lord

I found this story humorous. Officials forbade a Christian dance group from performing, but later apologized, and has promised to provide more training to law enforcement on just what is and is not permitted by the first amendment. Of course! Why didn't I think of that? Just explain that you can't allow anything that would make a reasonable person believe that the government is promoting religion. Duh. Jazz hands are probably fine. Just stay away from the splits and anything more than half turn flippies.

Current First Amendment doctrine has apparently gotten everyone a little confused. Or is confusion the wrong word? You're not paranoid if they're really after you, and you're not confused if there really is no clarity to be had.
